the Ph.D. in the Architecture History Program at METU. While carrying out her thesis, she was awarded a scholarship by the Turkish Cultural Foundation in 2008. She completed her Ph.D. Thesis in 2012 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Elvan Altan. Her doctoral thesis was awarded the METU/Institute of Social Sciences 2011-2012 Academic Year Best Thesis Award. Between 2003 and 2014, she worked as a Research Assistant at the Ankara Branch of the American Research Institute in Turkey (ARIT). Since 2014, she has been teaching in the Department of Architecture at TOBB University of Economics and Technology.
