Biography

Ramazan AKTAŞ born in 1960, graduated from the Department of Business Administration at the Military Academy in 1981. In the same year, he started his master s degree in the Department of Business Administration at METU. After completing his master s degree in 1985, he was appointed as a lecturer at the Business Administration Department of The Military Academy. In 1987, he started his doctorate study at Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Business Administration and completed this program in 1991. In 1995, he received his associate professor degree in Finance. Ramazan AKTAŞ, who had been giving lectures on business administration in the Military Academy since 1985, had also lectured as a part-time lecturer at different state and foundation universities during this period. During his tenure at the Military Academy, he worked in Canada for 1 year, in Italy at Luigi Bocconi University for 6 months and worked as a department head and lecturer at the Azerbaijan Military Academy for a period of 6 months. AKTAŞ, who retired from his duty in the army in 2003, has been the Head of the Business Administration Department of TOBB University of Economics and Technology since its establishment. In addition, he has been the director of TOBB ETÜ Continuing Education Center, which operates as an economic enterprise, since its establishment. He lectures on Finance, Entrepreneurship and SMEs. He has many books, articles and conference papers on his field.
