Biography

I graduated from Gulhane Military Medical School in 1986. I completed my residential training in Medical Ecology and Hydroclimatology at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine and Gulhane Military Medical Academy and became a specialist physician in 1992. I was awarded the title of Associate Professor in 1994 and Professor in 2003. In 2010, I completed my postgraduate education in Medical Education at the University of Dundee College of Medicine and Dentistry and received the title MMEd. I am currently a faculty member at TOBB University of Economics and Technology Faculty of Medicine, Department of Medical Education and Informatics. I am an active member of National Committee of Accreditation of Medical Education Programs and Turkish Ministry of Health Boards (Medical Evaluation Board for Spas and Medical Evaluation Board for Mineral Waters). I am a member of following professional associations: The Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Medical Education Programs, Turkish Association for Medical Education, Association for Development of Medical Education, The Informatics Association of Turkey, Turkish Association for Spa Medicine and Balneology.
