Biography

Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Fatih Karakaya is acting chair of department of Art and Design at TOBB University Economics and Technology. He serves also as vice dean of Faculty of Architecture and Design. He received his BFA, MFA and PhD degrees from Bilkent University at 2003, 2005 and 2011 respectively. Dr. Karakaya has deep expertise in developing and applying computer based creativity support tools in design education. He developed platforms and web-based applications for supporting collaboration and social creativity in student groups. His main research interests include supporting creativity in design process, Augmented Reality (AR) and Mixed Reality (MR) in design education and web-based collaborative design.
