Güncel Mimarlıkta “Özgün Kopya” Kavramı

Abstract

Just as in every period of history, the architectural agenda is now different in the context of the development and transformation of technological, political, economic and cultural factors that shape the time by its nature. In particular, it is possible to talk about innovations in the field of technology affecting both the design and production areas as well as the architectural profile in architecture. It can be said that the technological innovations have forced architecture to go beyond what it was accustomed to and knew in the past and think and produce differently from the recent past in thought and production. This study has discussed the effects of technology on architecture in two selected fields. The first one is the architectural media, which is becoming increasingly common due to the Internet and increasing its influence day by day. The second one is the technology-based designs and production processes created by tools such as softwares as CAD programs, CNS that produces objects, laser cutter, 3d printer, robotic arms and virtual reality glasses. In addition, it can be argued that electronic media and technology-based tools lead to differentiation/transformation in the context of many architectural concepts, and as a result, new concepts can be mentioned in the field of architectural theories. In this framework, this study focuses directly on the field of design, analyses contemporary architectural designs in the context of technology and its conclusions, and discusses the content of concepts such as copying. As a result, in the question of agenda, the concept of “original copy”, “design chain”, “constructive element” is introduced, the design attitudes that we are accustomed to see frequently today are discussed through this concept and evaluations of contemporary architecture are made.

Tarihin her döneminde olduğu gibi bugünlerde de mimarlık gündemi, doğası gereği zamanına biçim veren teknolojik, politik, ekonomik, kültürel etkenlerin gelişim ve dönüşümleri bağlamında farklılaşmaktadır. Özellikle teknoloji alanında oluşan yeniliklerin mimarlıkta hem tasarım ve üretim alanlarına hem de mimar profiline etkilerinden bahsetmek mümkündür. Teknolojik yeniliklerin mimarı, düşünce ve üretimlerinde, geçmişte alışık olduğu ve bildiğinin ötesine geçmeye; yakın geçmişinden farklı düşünmeye ve üretmeye zorladığı söylenebilir. Bu çalışma, teknolojinin seçilmiş iki alanda mimarlığa etkilerini tartışmıştır. Bunlardan birincisi, internet sayesinde giderek yaygın hale gelen ve etkisini her geçen gün arttıran mimarlık medyasıdır, ikincisi ise CAD programları gibi yazılımlar ve nesneyi üreten CNS, lazer kesici, 3d yazıcı, robotik kollar, sanal gerçeklik gözlükleri gibi araçların oluşturduğu teknoloji tabanlı tasarım ve üretim süreçleridir. Bu iki alanda oluşan yeniliklerin, bu çalışmada ortaklıklar sistemi olarak ifade edilen büyük bir bilgi ağı ve görsel envanter oluşumuna neden olduğu ve bunun tasarım ve üretim alanını ve mimarın düşünme biçimlerini etkilediği iddia edilmektedir. Buna ek olarak, elektronik medya ve teknoloji tabanlı araçların birçok mimari kavramın içeriğinde anlam farklılaşmalarına/dönüşümlere yol açtığı, sonuçta da mimarlık kuramları alanında yeni kavramlardan söz edilebileceği de savlanabilir. Bu çerçevede, bu çalışma doğrudan tasarım alanına odaklanarak, teknoloji ile onun getirileri bağlamında güncel mimari tasarımları analiz eder ve kopya ve gibi kavramların içeriğini tartışır. Sonuçta da gündemi sorgulamada “özgün kopya”, “tasarım zinciri”, “kurucu unsur” kavramlar ortaya atarak bugün sıklıkla görmeye alıştığımız tasarım tavırlarını bu kavram üzerinden ele alır ve güncel mimarlığa ait değerlendirmeler yapar.
