Publisher: | Common Ground Research Networks | Abstract: | Leadership is a term that scholars have argued about for decades without coming to agreement as to its meaning. The factors hindering the formation of international leadership definition are considered to be cultural traits, various societal perceptions and rapidly changing environment in which the globalization plays role on how to manage the business. In this study the effect of cultural perception on leadership is discussed, making use of a survey conducted on 244 management students. The results are compared with previous studies to position leadership and charismatic leadership. The major questions focus on the theoretical paradigms of leadership and charismatic leadership and the perception of charismatic leadership in terms of cultural approach. The results of the study are provided under a unified model. © Common Ground, Ahu Genis-Gruber, All Rights Reserved. | URI: | https://doi.org/10.18848/1447-9524/cgp/v10i06/49994 https://hdl.handle.net/20.500.11851/5780 |
