A brief introduction to the Department of Visual Communication Design at TOBB ETU

The field of Visual Communication Design has an interdisciplinary structure including different areas of expertise. The Visual Communication Design Department curriculum at TOBB ETU consists of various courses in the fields of; visual communication, communication design, advertising, web design, illustration, typography, corporate identity design, packaging design, print design, photography, video editing, video post-production, animation, creative writing, short film design, sound and image design, visual effects design, new media, and interface design.

Students’ designs are included in many international platforms (projects, competitions, exhibitions, social responsibility campaigns, and similar). In addition, undergraduate students gain work experience (approximately one year in total) by completing the Cooperative Education Program in organizations operating on visual communication design.
