Bu bağlamda gelişmiş ekonomilerin benzer sektörlerini kapsayacak şekilde portföy çeşitlendirmesi yapmanın getiri sağlayabileceği gösterilmektedir. dc.description.abstractThe aim of this thesis is to examine the relationship between low inflation and indicies return of selected sectors under low inflation environment which has become an important issue in developed economies. This work also includes the evaluation of performances of Japanese sectors and also the performance differences and/or similarities between European indexes, including Eurostoxx 50 benchmark index and Nikkei 225 benchmark index of Japan, which is in a deflation regime for more than 15 years. This evaluation was determined based on the annual returns of high and low sectoral performances. In the low inflation environment of European and Japanese economies which are some of the World's largest economies, it is observed that the healthcare and utilities sector indexes have low performances contrary to the expectations. On the other hand, consequences indicate the similarities between the price movements in sectoral base, especially technology, cyclical consumer food and services sectors and the positive relations among the similar sectors at a deflationary or disinflationary enviroment. The results emphasized the benefits of portfolio diversification among similar sectors indices in developed economies in this context Keywords: Deflation, Disinflation, Finance, Developed Economy, Low Inflation, Sectoren_US
