İstanbul Halkevi kültür dergisi (1943-1946) inceleme dizin metin

Abstract

1940'lı yılların Türkiye'sinde Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi'nin kendine bağlı kuruluşlar vasıtası ile çeşitli dergiler yayınladığı görülmektedir. Bunların en dikkate değer olanı Halkevleri Genel Merkezi tarafından yayınlanan Ülkü dergisidir. Çeşitli illerde yayınlanan bu tür dergiler arasında, Ülkü kadar önemli bir başka dergi daha bulunmaktadır. O da İstanbul Eminönü Halkevi tarafından çıkarılan İstanbul Kültür'dür. Kültür ve sanat hayatının canlı olduğu bir ilde ve İkinci Dünya Savaşı gibi engebeli bir konjonktürde yayınlanan İstanbul Kültür dergisi, dönem ruhunun kavranması bakımından önemli bazı imkânlar sunmaktadır. İlgili derginin bir başka özelliği de, sanat ve edebiyat bölümlerinin Mehmet Kaplan tarafından yürütülüyor olmasıdır. Dolayısıyla Türkiye'nin çok partili siyasi hayata geçişi kadar, edebiyat ve sanat hayatındaki türlü evrilmeleri rahatlıkla izleyebildiğimiz İstanbul Kültür dergisinin, yüksek lisans tezi seviyesinde ele alınıp incelenebileceğini düşündük. Dergi üzerinde gerçekleştirdiğimiz detaylı inceleme dışında, orada yer alan her türlü yazılarla şiir ve hikâye gibi edebi metinlerin de indeksini hazırladık. Kronoloji, yazar adı ve edebi türe dayalı bu indekslerin ardından da, dergide yayınlanan Yeni Türk Edebiyatı ile ilgili metinler arasından seçtiğimiz örnekleri ayrı bir cilt haline getirmeyi uygun bulduk. It appears that 'Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi' had published various magazines during 1940s in Turkey throught the institutions affiliated to the party. The most notable of these magazines was one called 'Ülkü,' which was published bu the Central Office of Community Centers. Among the other magazines published in different provinces, there was another magazine which was deemed as significant as 'Ülkü.' It was called 'Istanbul Culture' and it was published by Istanbul's Eminönü Community Center. The Istanbul Culture magazine, which was published in a province which had a vivid cultural and artistic life during a rippled conjuncture like the Second World War, provides some significiant opportunities in terms of grasping the spirit of the era. Another aspect of the aforesaid magazine is the fact the art and literature section of this magazine was chaired by Mehmet Kaplan. Therefore, we thought that the Istanbul Culture magazine, which allows us to monitor not only the transition a multiparty system in Turkey but also the various types of evoluations experienced in literature and artistic life, can be examined as a master's thesis. Besides the detailed review we performed on this magazine, we prepared the index of all kinds of newsletters and the literary texts such as poems and stories. Following these indices based on chronology, author and literary genre, we deemed it necessary to create a book from the samples we picked among the contemporary Turkish Literature examples and relevant texts published in this magazine.
