Nanoplasmonics forms a major part of the field of nanophotonics, which explores how electromagnetic fields can be confined over dimensions on the order of or smaller than the wavelength. Here, we present an integral-equation formulation of the mathematical model that delivers accurate solutions in small computational times for surface plasmons coupled by periodic corrugations of flat surfaces.en_US
