Since the term nanofluid has taken its place in the literature, nanoparticle suspensions have started to be thought to have a significant potential for heat transfer and the effects of nanoparticles on heat transfer have become an important research topic. In this study, the heat transfer under oscillatory flow condition of nanofluids is investigated experimentally. The experimental setup built is based on the principle that flow is generated by using a vibration generator between two reservoirs which are located on the upper and lower ends of the capillary tube bundle in the vertical direction. Nanofluids were prepared with various nanoparticles at different volumetric concentrations using deionized water as the base fluid. The effects of the prepared nanofluids on the heat transfer in various vibration amplitude and frequency values were investigated and compared with the deionized water's heat transfer performance under the same conditions. It has been observed that heat transfer varies linearly with the amplitude change in all experiments. In addition, while the heat transfer performance of the nanofluid containing alumina (Al2O3 - 45 nm) increased compared to the deionized water, a decrease in heat transfer was calculated in experiments made with nanofluids containing alumina (Al2O3 - 10 nm) and copper oxide (CuO - 25-55 nm).en_US
