Abstract: Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test systems for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) embedded flight controllers provides more realistic test environments for pre-flight tests. The HIL test system which is described in this paper combines a detailed and sophisticated flight simulation software with a moving hardware platform in the pitch and roll axis with actual flight sensors to form a complete testing environment.
