dc.description.abstractDuring the late decades of 19th century, by the high interest of Abdulhamid II a new art environment appeared in imperial palace and its surroundings. In Yildiz Cini Fabrika-i Humayun, which was founded by Sultan Abdulhamid II, domestic and foreign painters decorated produced porcelain objects, and some of them painted views and landscape of Istanbul. While examining depicted landscapes on these very valuable items, it is possible to observe that the artist took advantages of photograph.en_US
