Abstract: The inventory model of type (s,.S') with discrete interference of chance is one of the most common inventory models. It is very important to know statistical characteristics such as the moments of this process. However, since the moments of this process cannot be obtained easily in many cases, it is needed to find the estimators for the moments of this process. For this reason, we focus on the estimation problem of the moments of this process. The asymptotic statistical properties of these estimators such as consistency, asymptotic unbiasedness and asymptotic normality are investigated. Finally, Monte Carlo simulation study is conducted to assess the performance of these estimators.
