Biography
Tuba Işınsu Durmuş was born in 1978 in Istanbul. She completed his primary education in Erzurum and his secondary and high school education in Ankara. She graduated from Gazi University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Turkish Language and Literature in 1999. She completed his master s and doctorate degrees at Bilkent University. With the support of TÜBİTAK, she conducted research at Oxford University for a year.
She still teaches at TOBB University of Economics and Technology as a former Turkish Literature professor. Durmuş, who focuses on the subjects in the field of cultural history such as the patronage of art in the Ottoman Empire, the publication of Ottoman literature texts, the teaching and adaptation of the classics, has many articles and books. Tuba Işınsu Durmuş was awarded as an outstanding young scientist by the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA) in 2017 for her studies.
